BRING YOUR BOOK BACK
INTO PRINT WITH WHITE RIVER PRESS
Do you have an out-of-print book that you would
like to see back-in-print? You can do that with White River Press.
Here's an outline of our basic reprint process.
- After you've signed a contract with White
River Press giving us the right to publish your book for you,
return it to White River Press with two unmarked copies of the
current edition of your book.
- A new cover for your book will be created by White River Press with your input.
- You can add or change your dedication and
acknowledgements, your “Other Books By” page, add a new
introduction or foreword, change your bio or add a page of review
comments to the beginning or end of your book.
- When the changes or additions to your front
and back matter arrive at White River Press , we send a publisher’s proof of your cover and the new pages
to you for your approval.
- Once these changes are approved by you, they
are sent to the Library of Congress for your new CIP data. After
we've received your new CIP data, the printing process begins.
- We send your book to our printer. Once the
printer's proof is approved by White River Press, your book is added to our
online catalog at
www.whiteriverpress.com. Information about you and your new
book, including a link to your website, is highlighted at www.whiteriverpress.com.
- Information about your back-in-print book is
added to the Ingram database and on
Amazon.com as well as other online retailers. You can order copies of your book at any time
from White River Press at 50% of the retail price.

1. Your manuscript. Word doc is best, as an attachment. Send to infoATwhiteriverpressDOTcom.
Please include a synopsis and/or overview.
2. A brief marketing plan, explaining to us how you will participate in promoting your book. We're interested in knowing about your website, blog, online presence, mailing list, contacts at newpapers and magazines, organizations, workshops and public speaking. |
